#Giving Tuesday, Tuesday December 2, is a day dedicated to giving back. In honor of this day, Luther Home of Mercy has set a goal of raising $5,000 in one day. Contributions can be made online from their website, www.lutherhome.org. Cash donations are also welcome — checks must be dated December 2 with #Giving Tuesday written in the memo portion. You are invited to support the work of the Luther Home of Mercy with your gift.
You are invited to the Blue Christmas service at St. Luke’s this Sunday, Nov. 30, at 7:30pm. This service is especially designed for those people who are going through the first holiday season without a loved one.

Come join us at Our Lady of Mount Carmel for the Community Thanksgiving Worship Service. It will be Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 7:00pm. The congregations of Mount Carmel, St. John’s Williston, St. Luke’s Yondota and St. Peter Blackberry will be gathering. A fellowship will follow…with a good possibility of pies being served. We all have many things to be thankful for. Praise the Lord!
Clean-up of the parsonage and church grounds is scheduled for this Saturday, 11/22, at 8am. And there will be lunch served at Noon. Bring your tools …. Chain saws, trimmers, pruners, shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, etc., etc. Many hands make lighter work.
