We are an Easter people

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord!

Peace! We are an Easter people, and not just on Easter Sunday.  It is easy to forget that Easter is a SEASON, not just a day.  Christ IS Risen, not just for today, but for tomorrow and beyond.  We need to hear that message of grace and hope right now – as we stay at home, miss our families and church communities, and worry about what comes next.

Our service is online each Sunday, with music, liturgy, God’s Word, messages of hope, prayers for the people, and blessings to take into your week.  At least for now, that’s where we will be. I hope you’ll be with us.

Holy Week 2020

Peace!  Holy Week is here, and what a week it has been!  I pray you are all safe and healthy. As we enter the most sacred time of the Christian year, we will take time to pray and retrace the way of Jesus’ passion and death.
But don’t lose heart; on the other side of Holy Week is Easter, Jesus’  great victory over death.  We will get there, together, because Jesus has promised to be in the midst of us.
Join us online  Maundy Thursday at 7:00 pm.  We will listen as Jesus teaches his disciples a new commandment.  Concluding the service will be the traditional Stripping of the Altar, symbolizing Jesus’ arrest and impending trial.
Our Good Friday Tenebrae service begins at 7:00 pm.  We will solemnly remember Jesus’ death and burial.  As the sanctuary gets darker, and the candles go out, a vocalist will sing ‘Were You There‘.  We will leave to await the long promised dawn of Easter.
We are in a really difficult time, but we are in it together.   Please watch and pray with me this week.  May God watch over you and your family.  Pr Rita

A special Congregational meeting will be held after worship on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
