Tanzania Kisereny Parish Preschool
In the book of Acts we hear how the Apostles responded when the church in Jerusalem was in need. When the church in one part of the world is in need, the churches in other parts of the world often send support.
Kisereny Lutheran Parish is a small parish on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, about 20km from Moshi, the nearest town. The area was relatively prosperous a few decades ago, but the bottom fell out of the international coffee market in 2000. The local economy has never recovered. Young people leave to find work in larger towns and cities.
