In-Person Worship
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen…. Hebrews 11:1
On Sunday June 14 we returned to in-person worship at St. Peter. It was nice to see people – real live people – sitting in the sanctuary! Please know that doing both online AND in-person worship – and having both be meaningful and done well – is challenging from a tech standpoint. We appreciate your patience as we navigate all the technological and safety issues that now confront us.
Our guidelines for worship include social distancing in the pews, wearing masks, not singing, taking attendance and safely distributing the Eucharist. These actions are necessary to keep us all safe. They made our worship experience different, to be sure, but they did not diminish the good feeling of being together again. Please note: if you have underlying health issues, please consider staying home and watching online!
So keep the faith! Being in a sanctuary does not guarantee our faithful worship. Trusting in Jesus Christ, no matter where you sit, is what matters. In him we have hope that will not disappoint us! Blessings… Pr. Rita
